About the workshops

Learn the traditional art of yarn spinning on our beautiful original spinning wheels. This one-day, hands-on workshop has a maximum of four participants, ensuring you receive plenty of individual attention. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this workshop is for you! For new spinners, the workshop breaks down every aspect of hand spinning - carding, spinning, plying and more - into achievable steps. By the end of the day, you'll have your own hand-spun skein of yarn to take home. For experienced spinners, we’ll help you expand your skills to build your spinning confidence and tackle any issues you may have been having. All equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. We supply tea and coffee but please bring a packed lunch.
